How an EICR works
1. The power will be need to turned on and of at various points whilst the EICR is being carried out
2. A 10% sample testing will be carried out across the installation to ensure the installation is safe for use
3. Various tests are carried our from the fuse board and around the property to ensure the installation meets current standards and the safety devices work as they should
4. An EICR typically takes between 3 to 5 hours to complete​
5. The cost for an EICR is £225 which includes the testing of up to 8 circuits ( Every circuit after this costs £25 extra per circuit)
